So many beauty products, so little time! It seems like every week another celebrity comes out with a new makeup, skincare or fragrance line. After all, beauty is a lucrative business. But having a killer voice, acting chops or ability to effortlessly strut the runway doesn’t necessarily translate to getting it right in the beauty biz. So, we sorted through the loads of lipsticks, eyeliners and exfoliators from the stars and picked a few of our favourite celeb beauty brands that are worth the hype and your beauty dollars.

JLo Beauty by Jennifer Lopez

Who doesn’t want that JLo glow?! Now, we can all get a little closer to it, with her new anti-aging line which includes a cleanser, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, mask and most recently launched complexion booster. The goal of the brand was to create luxurious but accessible skincare you can afford to use daily. Following JLo’s philosophy that “beauty has no expiration date” these products are part of her ethos of feeling great at any age. Of course, in true JLo style, even the packaging on these products stuns, in gorgeous rose gold hues.

ANOMALY Haircare by Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Between producing, acting and activism, Priyanka Chopra Jonas somehow found the time to add beauty brand CEO to her list of titles. Her newly launched line of affordable shampoos, conditioners are not only kind on the wallet, but kind to Mother Earth. All the bottles are made from 100% plastic trash diverted from landfills and ocean-bound plastic, and the cans are made from infinitely recyclable aluminum. As PCJ says on the company website “You shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you or the planet. Make beautiful choices.”

Honest Beauty by Jessica Alba

When Jessica Alba couldn’t find one brand to trust for all her everyday needs, she set out to create it herself. She knew that there had to be others out there looking for safe products, simple solutions and clear information about their choices, just like her. More than a beauty brand, Honest Beauty is a wellness brand that offers everything from baby care and cleaning products in addition to an impressive selection of clean skincare and makeup too. The new Calm + Heal beautifully melts into an ultra-moisturizing, luxurious balm to heal dry skin, delivering a dewy finish. And if that isn’t enough – it helps protect the face and neck against the drying effects of wind and cold weather. Yes please!

About-Face by Halsey

About-Face is seriously chic multi-dimensional make-up. Created by Ashley Frangipane a.k.a. Halsey, the products deliver high-performing, richly pigmented formulas that are built to last, with the intention of providing the tools for ultimate self-exploration and expression. We are currently obsessed with the limited edition Anti-Vday Matte Mates which come in four bright, bold shades. A perfectly paired duo of the Paint-It Matte Lip Color & matching Matte Fix Lip Pencil – talk about twinning done right. Added bonus - all products are vegan and cruelty-free.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna

Before she was BadGalRiRi: music, fashion and beauty icon, Robyn Rihanna Fenty was a little girl in Barbados transfixed by her mother’s lipstick. Once she experienced makeup for herself, she never looked back. Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones. We love everything about Fenty’s game-changing inclusive beauty line, including their new Pro Filt’R Soft Matte Powder Foundation -- a light-as-air powder foundation formula that keeps your skin looking like REAL skin while giving your pores some blur action and an overall even, soft-matte complexion. And with 50 shades to choose from in Fenty’s line of concealers, foundations and powders, finding your perfect match is no longer a struggle.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez

Rare Beauty is about breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection – this makeup is made to feel good in, without hiding what makes you unique.  Best said by Gomez herself, “I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and just start embracing our own uniqueness.” The brand’s sight extends beyond beauty, with a vision to create a safe, welcoming space that supports mental well-being across age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, cultural background, physical or mental ability, and perspective. The newest Stay Vulnerable Collection includes five shades of liquid eyeshadows, lip balms and melting blushes that can be mixed and matched to create beautiful hues in harmony.

Keys Soulcare by Alicia Keys

Inspired by Alicia Keys’ own skincare journey and love of ancient beauty rituals, Keys Soulcare goes beyond skincare to truly care for the whole self — body, mind, and spirit. The clean, dermatologist-developed formulas are blends of time-honoured minerals and botanicals like malachite, Manuka honey, and Hojicha powder combined with modern ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and bakuchiol to create highly effective formulas gentle enough for all skin types. From symbolic icons and affirming mantras to recommended rituals — every offering is infused with intention. Especially in this cold winter weather, the Comforting Balm is a blessing. A true multipurpose balm that can be applied to the lips, elbows, cuticles, and heel, this balm quenches that thirsty skin, soothes your soul and lifts your spirits.

PATTERN Beauty by Tracee Ellis Ross

PATTERN is haircare for curly, coily and tight textures. The brand focuses on hair health and encourages each hair texture to take up as much space as it desires.  PATTERN hopes to expand how we communicate, care for and celebrate our hair. The brand also encourages us to reimagine the language we use around hair – encouraging us not to feel the need to “tame”, “control” or “stifle” our curls & coils. Rather, let them free. The newest Treatment Mask and Scalp Serum are not only a treat for your hair and your scalp but also your senses.

KORA Organics by Miranda Kerr

What you put on your skin soaks in – and for this reason, KORA Organics is all about looking after our skin with products that replenish it and fill it with the nutrients it needs to function at its best. With this ethos, they have created an award-winning range of certified organic and certified natural products that detoxify, nourish and revitalize your skin. Their latest product is the Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil and it is a game-changer for ultra-nourishing, yet effective cleansing. The organic dual-phase cleansing milk gently and thoroughly removes dirt, oil and makeup using the power of Silver Ear Mushroom with a blend of nurturing oils with cleansing properties that deeply cleanse skin. Best of all, it is suitable for all skin types.

Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner

Love her or loathe her, you cannot deny Kylie Jenner knows how to build a brand. Only three years since it launched, Kylie Cosmetics is now one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in the world. It began with Kylie’s infamous "Lip Kit," consisting of a matching liquid lipstick and lip liner to create the perfect Kylie pout.  Since then, she has gone on to expand the collection into a full range of colour cosmetics, including eyeshadow palettes, concealers, highlighters, blushes, accessories and more. Now with the addition of Kylie Skin, the brand is making mega waves in skincare sales too. The newest 8 Piece Mini Set features best-selling Kylie Skin essentials to cleanse, hydrate, and glow from head to toe in mini sizes, great for on-the-go.

Haus Laboratories By Lady Gaga

She didn’t always feel beautiful. Haus Laboratories founder, Lady Gaga struggled with her inner and outer sense of beauty growing up but found power in makeup. “Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within.  But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had. I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform.”  Gaga’s makeup line offers a wide range of eyes, cheek and lip formulas, with a mission to spread kindness, bravery, and creativity by providing tools for self-expression and reinvention. Masks-on mostly these days, it's all about the eyes at the moment, so the new Four-Way Shadow Palette is right on time. Each of the shadow palettes offer matte, metallic, and shimmer finishes in four shades to bring your fantasy look to life, with nine killer combos to choose from to create your transformative look.

Florence By Mills by Millie Bobby Brown

For Millie, beauty is all about love and compassion—for ourselves and others. That’s why she named this clean skincare and cosmetics line after her great-grandma, Florence, a woman who embraced herself and did things that made her happy all her life. There’s certainly a lot to love about the new Cosmic Shadows. With a built-in vegan brush applicator, these shadows, with 4 shades to choose from are super easy to use and don’t require any additional tools.
