Jeffree Star calls Kanye West affair rumours the ‘dumbest sh-t I think I’ve ever read in my entire life’

The first full week of 2021 has been a wild week of news, to say the least. Once news of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s alleged divorce spread, the internet began to share a false rumour involving Kanye and beauty guru Jeffree Star.

A viral TikTok video from Ava Louise, who went viral in March 2020 for licking a toilet seat as part of her “Corona Challenge,” began to make its rounds this week, claiming that Kanye was having an affair with "a very famous male beauty guru." Kanye and Jeffree are both living in Wyoming at the moment, which led people to believe the rumours were true. Another TikTok user named Patty Eminger added more fuel to the fire when he posted another video that shared all the reasons why the Kanye and Jeffree rumour could be true. It included the fact that Jeffree had moved to Wyoming, and also shared the unconfirmed report that Kim had given her lawyers “evidence” of Kanye’s alleged infidelity. 

TikTok users weren’t the only instigators in this situation. After Jeffree shared a photo of himself holding a chicken and wearing a pair of sunglasses on Twitter, many social media users were claiming that they could see Kanye in the reflection of his shades. Jeffree addressed the rumours on Twitter, writing, “Why are all the e-detectives trying to see who is in my sunglasses reflection?”

At first, Jeffree played along and began posting pictures on Instagram with the caption “I’m ready for Sunday Service,” but he eventually created a YouTube video addressing the rumours, which he referred to as “the dumbest sh-t ever.”

In Jeffree’s tell-all video, titled, “Addressing The Kanye Situation,” the beauty vlogger called the allegations against him and the “All of The Lights” rapper the “dumbest sh-t I think I’ve ever read in my entire life.” At the beginning of his video, Jeffree said, “I guess allegedly Jeffree Star has been sleeping with Kanye West, and that’s why they’re getting a divorce. Goodbye.” He said that he received a million phone calls and texts from news outlets and friends about the allegations.

“I’m scrolling on the internet, and I read the dumbest sh-t I think I’ve ever read in my entire life,” Jeffree said as he went to his computer to show his name in the No. 3 trending spot on Twitter. Jeffree went on to deny the accusations that he has ever slept with Kanye. "I'm single. I'm not sleeping with anyone," he shared. "I like very tall men. Me and Kanye have never hung out, and this whole thing is really funny. ... How did we even get to this moment? How would that even be made up? Because we both live in the same state?" Is that Jeffree taking a height jab at Kanye who stands at 5'8"? 

Jeffree said that the TikTok user “made up a whole lie” and accused Kris Jenner of spreading the rumour to take the heat off her own daughter. "If Kris Jenner orchestrated this whole thing, Happy New Year, sweetie girl."

Jeffree admitted that he understands why people are laughing the rumour because he rapped a line about Kanye in an old song of his from 2009. In “Bitch Please,” the founder of Jeffree Star cosmetics raps about performing oral sex on Kanye but he also mentions celebrities like Chris Brown, Michael Phelps, Flo Rida, Pussycat Dolls and many more.

"Y'all have too much time on your hands, b--ch" Jeffree said. The male beauty guru explained that he is staying in Wyoming for half the year, and his Hidden Hills home in California for the other half of the year. 

Kanye hasn’t responded to the rumour or commented on his split from the KKW Beauty creator. Kanye and Kim are living seperately and reportedly undergoing marriage counselling. He remains in Wyoming while Kim is in Calabasas, California with their kids. Kim and Kanye have been married since 2014 and have four children together: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1.

The couple made headlines in 2020 for Kanye's controversial tweets, which included information about divorcing Kim,  sharing intimate details about their relationship and even comparing his mother in-law Kris to to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un. Multiple outlets have reported that Kim has hired celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented the Skims creator in her divorce from Kris Humphries. “They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source told Page Six.

Just remember, the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder. Keeping up with the Kardashians will be at the top of many people's to-do lists as this continues to play out.
