Cardi B wants her divorce petition dismissed

The rollercoaster of Cardi B and Offset’s marriage is continuing, this time possibly on an upward trajectory. The “WAP” rapper has been married to the Migos rapper since 2017, and in that time, they’ve broken up, gotten back together, had little daughter Kulture, broken up again, and filed for divorce.Now Cardi wants the divorce petition she filed back in September dismissed, because as you may already know, her and Offset are back together. There isn’t this much tumult and turmoil in The Young & The Restless.TMZ is reporting that Cardi (whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) filed paperwork in a Georgia courthouse to have her petition dismissed, something that a presiding judge is still mulling over.

What’s interesting about her paperwork is that she has filed her dismissal “without prejudice,” which essentially means that should she ever want to pursue this divorce petition again, she will have that right.The “Bodak Yellow” hit-maker has had a lot to say on social media about her relationship with Offset. She even responded to the backlash her reconciliation with him prompted after some fans commented they were concerned she was in an abusive, controlling relationship. Cardi defended Offset against the accusations and took so much heat for their reunion that she even deleted her Twitter to avoid dealing with the constant remarks on her personal relationship.When Cardi and Offset first called it quits, she took to Instagram Live to dismiss any rumours that he had been unfaithful and had impregnated another woman. “I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f*****g complete lie,” she said in the September IG broadcast. “That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s b******t.”She later added, “The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s**t that ever happened before.
